Home at Last!

Jake has been gone for this past week. He came home today and I could not be happier. I am used to him being gone, but as Morgan gets older it becomes harder and harder to do things, ie going to church. We just moved into a house and that means a new ward. I am happy to say that Morgan and I arrived only 5 min late.(we have church at 9am, and I hate getting up early!) He was fine during sacrament, but Sunday School was a whole different story. I was given a paper to fill out about our family and Morgan would not stay still. He wanted to rome the halls. Well I met the bishop in the hall and had Morgan in my arms, trying to contain him, we started talking and Morgan slapped my face right in front of him! I was embarrassed, but what do you do? Needless to say we stayed in R.S. for announcements and then went home and took a much needed nap... I am sure Morgan felt the same way!

The rest of my week was actually easier that I thought it would be. Between work, Morgan, and football games(all 3 Centennial teams lost to Palo Verde...McKay playes JV and Matthew is on Varisty...I am not just some super senior!) the week went by pretty fast. My parents helped me out a lot this week, and I am am so grateful for them.

Jake came home this afternoon and I crashed! It felt so good to take a long nap! Every time Jake is gone I realize how much he helps me out. He washes dishes, gives Morgan baths and puts him to sleep. This week made me grateful I am not a single mom all the time!

Welcome home Jake and congratulations on qualifying. You must be playing an awful lot of Wii golf these days...

Kathryn! At least you have an excuse for being 5 minutes late... that is standard for Robbie and I. And we don't even have kids! It is funny how we hate to be late to most things, but when church comes, there tends to be an exception. That sounds so bad! Once you figure out the picture gig, post some of your house!
