About a year ago my Grandma was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and it has now spread throughout her body. About a month ago my aunts(all 5 of them) and my mom had their pictures taken with my Grandma. Our good friend Syndey Davis took them for us and as I was looking through all of the proofs on-line I came across this one. These are my Grandma's hands...these are the hands that she pinched me with. These are the hands she has wiped away my tears with. These are the hands that have held me in her warm embrace. These are the hands that I so loving watched make countless dinners for those in need. These are the hands that held my new baby on the day he was born. These are the hands that helped me mend my clothes. These are the hands that drove me to Stand's whenever I was in town to eat onion rings. These are the hands that have written me letters of encouragement and love. These are the hands that I want to always remember...these are my Grandma's hands.5.02.2008

Oh that makes me sad. I didn't know that she was sick, and I really really like her. I'm sorry Kath... Beautiful picture and tribute though.
