Girls Trip

Kendall and I went down to the great State of Texas to visit our sister Lauren in Dallas. We ate, shopped, helped decorated her apt, and ate some more! The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. Perhaps my favorite thing in Dallas is a grocery store named Central Market. It is sort of like a Whole Foods only so much better! We went there twice and I want to go back to Dallas just so I can visit it again!

Our mom flew in to Dallas on Sunday and Monday morning we headed to the Texas State Fair! It was huge and super clean. I was very impressed.

We had heard all about the food and couldn't wait to give it all a try. Everything there is fried...here is a list just to name a few:

• fried butter
• *fried smore's
• fried peaches and cream
• fried coke
• *fried pb&j and banana sandwhich
• *fried potoates
• fried pineapple and cream
• fried cookie dough
• fried cheesecake
• fried cheesecurd
• fried pickles
• *fried waffles with strawberries and chocolate in the middle
• *fried corn dog

The items with a * in front of it are the ones we tried. My personal favorite was the fried waffle. They say everything is bigger in Texas and I agree...especially me I gained about 4 lbs while I was there! I had a blast and cannot wait for another girls trip to TEXAS!
