MORGAN IS BINKY FREE! He actually did this to himself. For the past two nights Morgan has gotten into our bed and while I have been cleaning, watching TV, etc, he falls asleep without his Binky! I put him into his bed last night and he woke up and then fell back to sleep on his own! This afternoon was a different story. Morgan woke up early this morning(7am...usually he sleeps until 9 or 10), had swim lessons(which he cried through...all 15 minutes!), watched Horton Hears a Who, ate lunch at Cafe Rio, went to the store, and then came home. I went to put him down for his nap thinking he must be exhausted...nope he just cried and cried. Finally after 45 minutes I went in and got him. He said he wanted his Binky, but I cut them all off at the tip and told him they were broken...he tried to suck on it a couple of times and then he threw it away. He stayed awake for awhile and then said, "Mommy I tired". I went and laid down with him and while we were laying there he took my hand and put it over his chest and then started rubbing my arm. I started crying it was so sweet! But soon after Jake came home which got Morgan all excited again. He was awake for a little while longer and then took a much needed nap! I am waiting for the tantrums to start...so everyone wish me lots of luck! I am going to need it!
**Update**
I really must confess that this was shorted lived...Morgan got a really bad case of croupe and cried all the time. Jake finally had enough and gave Morgan his binkey back. Just thought I would be honest and let you know!
