Today we were early to church...the first time in 7 months(on-time not just early) Jake got a new calling and had to meet with someone hence the reason for us being early in the first place! As we were sitting there with the kids waiting for sacrament to start a sister missionary came up to us and kindly put her hand on my shoulder and asked if we were new to the ward. I said no and that we had been in the ward for 2 1/2 years. We told her that we usually arrive late and sit in the very back of the overflow. I guess we have somethings to work on! However, we did enjoy sitting on the comfy benches for the first time in months! Jane finally fell asleep in my arms and in between Morgan acting like an animal, making a mess with his half melted crayons and snacks, he came up to Jane and started singing I Am A Child Of God(he did this several times throughout the meeting). It was the sweetest thing...I even got a little teary. It is moments like these that make being a mom so great!
