Saturday Showers

One of my favorite parts about living in Las Vegas is the summer thunderstorms. Yesterday while my mom and I were out running errands it started to rain pretty hard along with some great lightening. We came home and honked several times but no one come outside to help us(the garage was full so we couldn't park in it and we didn't want to get wet.) My mom and I put target bags over her heads and made a run for it. This is why no one answered us...

Jake and Morgan have a new game they love to play...Jake kicks the ball on top of the patio cover and when it falls off Morgan hits it with his head. They play this game everyday, but yesterday was especially great since it was raining!

Jake and I went on a date last night and Morgan did not want to go to the babysitters house. (The last time we tried to leave him with someone he threw-up) This time Jake told Morgan if he was good, he would take him on a safari in the backyard. I am happy to report that Morgan did not throw-up and when we got home Jake followed through with his promise. He got Morgan's flashlight and they went into the backyard. They found bugs, a spider, and an alligator(toy alligator Morgan left out there.) Jake said the next time they go on a safari he is going to hide more of Morgan's animals for them to find...what a creative husband I have!
