These two ragamuffins are 2 months apart. They have a very love, hate, love relationship. Whenever they are together there is bound to be a mess, mischief, and mayhem. I don't have a cousin my age, but always wanted one. That is why I am so grateful they have each other to grow up with.

Kindergarten Program
Morgan's part in the program was a funny feet dancer. I will upload the video if I can ever figure out how to do it.
Grammy made it to the program. He was excited to have her there!
Morgan with his teacher Mrs. Whitaker. She really is the best teacher. We feel so lucky that Morgan gets to be in her class.

Just Dance
Jane has started dance class! She is in love and can't wait to go back next week. It is a fairy tale dance class, so half of the class they dress up in a princess dress, read a story, and dance to a theme song. Last week was Alice in Wonderland. On her first day I was informed there is a recital at the end of May and a $45 recital fee was due. I can already tell I am going to love this new hobby of hers.

Homemade Slime
For family home evening tonight I decided to finally give into Morgan's pleas and make our own slime. I thought it would be difficult and take sometime, but it was simple and fast!
Jane chose red, that ended up being pink.
Morgan chose cougar blue...go figure.
The finished product. If you are feeling creative you can get the recipe here.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
At 11 p.m. last night while stalking Pinterest I decided we had to celebrate his big day. I used wrapping paper as a table cloth, and decorated with all of the Dr. Seuss books we had.
Jake and Morgan read green eggs and ham before we ate.
For breakfast we had green eggs and ham. (What else would you eat?) I used spinach juice to turn the eggs green instead of dye and topped them with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. They were delicious.
Morgan loved his green eggs and ham...Jane slept in and missed breakfast. We made up for in the afternoon and took her (and Morgan) to see the Lorax. We also took cookies and a new Dr. Seuss book to our friends to celebrate the Seuss! We had such a fantastic day and think this will be a new family tradition.

Pinned
I am addicted to Pinterest . Here are a few items I have made lately that I will be making again, and one that was a disaster.
This recipe originally called for peanut butter chips, but I changed it to butterscotch chips. It also said to chill the dough for an hour. I didn't do that step and they turned out great, and cookies don't usually work for me.
This is an easy one pot dish. It taste pretty good too.
I changed this recipe...I tend to do that a lot. I used cream cheese instead of mayo and sliced all of the ingredients. I also didn't use the lime juice, or the cilantro/basil. It was delicious and I made it for lunch 3 times in a row!

Chocolate Olive Cake
I made this with my aunt. The cake was moist, but tasted weird( In a gross kinda of way). The filling was not sweet enough and left something to be desired. I took one bite and that was all I ate. It did look amazing...I'll give it that!
